Sun Rock Ranch hosted eight miles of trails for the 1996 F.E.I. World Championship 100-mile Equestrian Endurance Event.

Trail ride with a resort horse or with your own horse on the same terrain and countryside on which world champions raced for this prestigious event.

HORSEBACK RIDING PRICES FOR DAY GUESTS
$45.00 per rider/per HOUR	For Single Rider - Rental of Resort horse
$35.00 per rider/per HOUR	For 2 or more Riders - Rental of Resort horses
$35.00 per rider for 2 hours	Ride with your own horse (for parties of 4 or less).
$25.00 per rider for 2 hours	Ride with your own horse (for parties of 5 or more).

HORSEBACK RIDING PRICES FOR OVERNIGHT GUESTS
$25.00 per rider/per HOUR	Rental of Resort horse.
$25.00 per rider for 2 hours	Ride with your own horse.
Horse Boarding Options:
$20.00/per horse	One time stall fee (indoor or outdoor) for the duration of your stay. This includes one bag of quality shavings. Additional shavings are $6.00 per bag.
$15.00/per horse	Outside pens are also available for a one time fee for the duration of your stay. (Only horses that are familiar to one another can stay together.)
$5.00/per horse	You may choose to bring your own pen. There is a one time grounds fee for the duration of your stay. Resort staff will direct you to an approved site.
ALL trail riders have access to a large indoor arena and round pens at no additional cost. Boarding of horses is available in indoor stalls or covered outdoor stalls. (Indoor stalls are heated during winter.) Horse owners are responsible for bringing their own riding tack, hay and feed and for keeping their own horse’s stall clean. Trail riding reservations cannot be guaranteed without a 50% deposit. If you must cancel your reservation, please do so within 10 days of the reserved date or your deposit will be forfeited.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL RIDERS

• All rides are by reservation only. We are an authentic working ranch and are therefore unable to accommodate walk-ins.

• Minimum age for trail riding is 12 years old. All riders 12 and older may participate in trail rides ONLY after they are prescreened by Resort staff.

• Guests will NOT be allowed to ride a horse based on the following (but not limited to) criteria: Physically unable to control a horse, unable to follow basic instructions, health/physical problems, pregnancy, behavior toward horses, intoxication.

• Minors 11 years old and under may ride in the indoor arena only.

• All minors 17 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and wear a helmet. Sorry, no exceptions!!

• Guests are allowed to ride a horse completely at the Resort staff's discretion.

• Release of Liability form(s) MUST be signed by every rider, without exception.

• All minor children MUST have a Release of Liability form(s) signed and be accompanied on the trail ride by a parent, legal guardian or other adult supervisor specifically appointed by the parent or legal guardian, without exception.

• All riders must wear appropriate riding attire: Long pants and NO open toe shoes.

• Maximum weight limit for riders is: 250 lbs.

• No double riding allowed.

• All trail rides will be guided and accompanied by Resort staff.

• No alcoholic beverages or smoking allowed during the trail ride.

• All riders who bring their own horse(s) MUST show proof of negative Coggins test within the last 6 months and current health papers of their horse(s).

• No pets allowed on trail rides.

• Please be here 30 minutes before reserved ride time.

• Taxes are not included in prices.
